Noura, a six-year-old girl from western Aleppo, experienced a life-altering moment on February 6th when the devastating earthquake struck. The violent shaking of their house forced Noura and her family to flee immediately, creating immense panic for the young girl.<\/p>

They sought refuge in a tent within a shelter center in rural Aleppo, surrounded by unfamiliar faces – a stark departure from her usual environment. For a six-year-old, this sudden displacement meant losing not just her home, but her sense of security, familiarity, and childhood normalcy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

When our emergency response team encountered Noura at the shelter center, we saw a child struggling with isolation and the trauma of displacement. Through our specialized approach to child protection in emergencies, we began connecting with Noura and other children through carefully designed recreational activities.<\/p>

Noura received winter and protection kits complete with warm clothing, stationery, and toys – essential items that serve as more than just supplies. These materials represent comfort, dignity, and most importantly, a reminder that someone cares about her well-being.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
